Permanent Studio Location Delayed
Our studio will be housed in the sports complex adjacent to Treeside Charter School located at 1724 South State St. Provo. The studio will operate completely independent of the Charter School and the Sports Complex. Jive will have its own entrance and operate solely as a Jive Studio.
The building was scheduled to be completed this month but the builders recently informed us that they are behind and it won't be completed on the scheduled date. We of course freaked out for a moment after getting this news!! We are committed to opening in October as we advertised. Therefore, we have secured a temporary space that we will use until the permanent space is completed. Jive will also reduce all tuition amounts until we are in our permanent and beautiful space.
The address of the TEMPORARY space is 775 W Spring Creek Pl #100c, Springville. It is of course less than perfect but we feel it will suffice until the new building has been completed. The temporary space will have our requested floor, mirrors, and viewing area for parents. We kindly ask for your trust and patience as we exercise trust and patience with the builders. We hope that the reduction in tuition costs will offset the inconvenience of being temporarily displaced.
We want all Jive South dancers to THRIVE at a Jive studio. Here's how we do it!
All dancers need to wear appropriate attire for class participation; this includes both dancewear and footwear. It is important that students and parents support the dress code so that the instructor may better evaluate each dancer's movements to help each dancer learn properly.
Jazz/Hip Hop Class Footwear:
Jazz shoes are required. Flexible sneakers are required upon instructor's request.
Combination Class Footwear:
Ballet shoes or bare feet.
Dancewear (All Classes):
Form-fitting dance clothing (e.g. jazz pants, capris, tights, leotards, tanks). No "school clothes", jeans, jean shorts, or any other restrictive clothing.
Hair (All Classes):
Hair should be pulled back off face.
